Health and Physical Education

The Health and Physical Education curriculum provides ongoing, developmentally appropriate learning about health and movement. All students at Aitken Creek Primary School participate in a variety of individual and team games including tennis, soccer, basketball, netball and cricket. There is a strong focus on living a fit and healthy lifestyle, which includes social and emotional health. Students also participate in a water safety unit. Aitken Creek Primary School is part of the Green Gully Sports Association.

Aitken Creek Primary School has developed a partnership with the Hume Tennis and Community Centre to offer all students the opportunity to participate in the Hot Shots Tennis Program. This program gives students the opportunity to participate in regional competitions, gala days, lunchtime clubs and the ‘On Court Experience’ at the Australian Open Tennis every year.
