At Aitken Creek Primary School we implement the Victorian Curriculum Foundation F–10 Version 2.0.  It is structured around 8 discipline-based learning areas and 4 core capabilities, encompassing essential knowledge and skills. The Victorian Curriculum F-10 Version 2.0 incorporates the Australian Curriculum and reflects Victorian priorities and standards. It outlines what every student should learn during their first eleven years of schooling.

Fundamental to learning across the curriculum are the 3 foundational skills, which describe observable skills required for learning, while the 3 cross-curriculum priorities add national, regional and global perspectives.
